How do I add the people who work for me?
Open Employees, then Add Employee. Anyone you add there becomes available to assign when you are editing a shift.

QuickSchedule lays out your week, your shifts and who is working them — on your iPhone, or straight from your wrist on Apple Watch. It is free, it has no ads, and it never asks you to make an account.
It is free now, and that is deliberate
I wrote QuickSchedule in 2013. A few years later I took it down — my career had taken over, and app development had to go. Things changed. I became disabled, and somewhere in that I found my way back to writing software. Getting this app working again is where I started.
So it is yours, free. No ads, no accounts, nothing to buy. If it turns out to be useful, the only thing I ask is that you have a look at what I am doing now.
Common questions
How do I change a shift?
Tap the shift on the Schedule screen to open it, and change the times or who is covering it. To add or remove shifts altogether, use Edit Shifts.
My week does not start on Monday.
Use Day Order on the Schedule screen to rearrange the days into whatever order your week actually runs in.
Does the Apple Watch app need my phone nearby?
The watch app and the phone app share the same schedule, so changes you make in one show up in the other. If they ever look out of step, open the app on your iPhone once with the watch nearby.
Where is my schedule stored? Could I lose it?
Everything is saved on your device. It is included in your normal iPhone backup, so it travels with you to a new phone — but it is not stored on any server of mine, which also means I cannot recover it for you if you delete the app.
Is it really free? What is the catch?
There is no catch. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases, and nothing is collected from you. The app is a gift; the website link inside it is the only thing I get out of it.
Privacy, in plain terms
QuickSchedule collects nothing and sends nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app contains no networking code at all — the single web address in it is the link to this site, which only opens if you tap it.
Your schedule and your employee list are stored on your own device and shared between your iPhone and Apple Watch. Nobody else can see them, including me.
